My Pilates for beginners classes are specifically designed for individuals new to Pilates. The class will take you through foundational movements and breathwork to leave you feeling energised whilst building functional strength and postural control.
My intermediate and advanced Pilates classes are tailored for individuals who have practiced Pilates before. It is a slightly more demanding mat class that focuses on improving postural strength, flexibility, and control through a sequence of movements and challenging exercises.
My Pilates and Bowen Therapy package is a combination of weekly Pilates and once to twice monthly sessions of Bowen Therapy.
The Bowen technique is a holistic and remedial soft tissue therapy that encourages the body to enter a state of healing and regeneration. Bowen therapy uses a cross fibre muscle release technique to balance and stimulate energy flow, resulting in a deep sense of relaxation.

I spend the first 15 minutes of each class preparing your body to move with stretches and simple movement. Followed by 40 minutes of strength work engaging your core and body with a series of exercises. The final 5 minutes of the class consists of stretching and relaxation movements. Our 60 minute class goes quickly, leaving you energised and feeling both stronger and flexible. Feel free to arrive 5 minutes earlier to socialise with us all, we are a friendly community and enjoy a quick catch up before class begins.
My Pilates mat classes run for 60 minutes
Pilates helps to develop core control, improve postural alignment, flexibility and functional strength. It is a great way to challenge the body whilst improving movement capabilities for everyday living or any other hobbies you do in life.
Wear comfortable clothes, not too loose or tight, but something you can move in easily. If your hair is long it’s handy to have it tied back. Avoid dangling types of jewellery and you won’t be wearing shoes during the class.
